The time is finally here! Shakira is about to give birth, her second baby boy is officially on his way! The Colombian singer is reportedly in labor and has been admitted at the Teknon clinic in Barcelona. Just like during her first birth, Shaki plans on giving birth via Cesarean section. Shakira and her partner Gerard Piqué decided to rent an entire wing of the birthing unit in order to ensure maximum privacy. According to People en Español, the hospital staff has everything lined up for Shakira's arrival. Yes! She could be giving birth in a few hours. Piqué and baby Milan must be so excited to meet the precious newborn! The cuteness level in this family is way too high.
I love that the baby is going to have such a close birthday to Milan's, who turned 2 last week. This is such a sweet belated birthday gift for him. I'm sure baby Milan must be so excited to meet his little sibling. Shakira's newborn is going to have a lot of cuteness to live up to since Milan has already stolen our hearts.
Just a couple of days ago, Shakira told the Spanish publication El País, "To me, motherhood is everything. Becoming a mother has changed my life in a really important way. It made me shift my priorities in life." Doesn't she speak the truth? Motherhood is a beautiful experience to be blessed with. I find that Shakira has become more relatable and even more charitable since starting a family. She even canceled her upcoming tour to make sure she had enough family time scheduled in.
Somehow she manages to balance it all, which makes me love her even more than I already do. I hope she has a smooth and healthy delivery!!!
