Call me crazy, but a simple idea has just blown my mami mind. It's brilliant and makes me wonder why this hasn't been done since like FOREVER. Are you ready for this? Pley is a toy rental company. They rent out Lego sets, with a huge selection to choose from. Think of them as a Netfix kind of service, but for Legos. No, seriously it is brilliant and has the potential to save you money while feeding your child's voracious Lego habit. Wait until I tell you the details of the whole thing. You're going to wonder why you didn't come up with this idea yourself.

Kids love Lego sets. As soon as they are done building something, they want to build something else. You could keep buying Lego sets if you are made of money or you could rent out a new-to-you Lego set from Pley. There is a monthly fee, they don't charge for shipping, you choose the set online, the set gets delivered to your home, when you are done you ship it back in some sort of shipping container that they send you. If you lose a piece because you know you will, it's no biggie.
You can watch the video below to get more details on that particular service, but can we talk about the possibilities? OMG! I hope this leads to more toy rental services. I would love to be able to have my kids use a rented toy until they are bored with it and then swap it out for another toy. Isn't this a great idea? It seems like it could be both economical and environmentally friendly to me.
I love this idea. It's got me thinking of all kinds of toy lending library options. I also love that it can be for toys that keep your kids occupied without a TV or without a computer.
