I have to say, Shakira may not be a hardcore fashionista like Jennifer Lopez or Zoe Saldana for instance, but I've seen her commit very few fashion fails. This is why I was so surprised when I saw her sporting that skimpy outfit on The Voice red carpet event in Los Angeles earlier this week. Shaki showed up wearing a sheer printed blouse that featured a deep plunge that totally showed off her black bra. What's up with celebs these days and revealing their underwear? It's overdone and NOT cute!

This was no wardrobe malfunction, Shaki definitely had that bra exposed on purpose. Clearly she was trying to make a fashion statement, but I don't think she realized she was making a bad one, not a fashionable one. I'm sorry, but I'm with Eva Mendes when she says that wearing more revealing clothes are "the easy way out." They totally take like no effort or creativity. Something tells me Shaki's stylist didn't put this look together!
Shakira sadly isn't the only falling for this trend of showing underwear. Kim Kardashian has been spotted more than once wearing sheer bodycon dresses that totally expose her bra and panties. And Beyonce and Fergie also seem to be fans of the fad. I really don't get it. What's the point of wearing clothes if you're going to have your undies revealed? Shakira might as well have shown up to this event in pants and a bra. It probably would have looked better!
