One of the most important things that you need to know about losing weight is that, although healthy eating and exercise are key components, the biggest part of having a healthy life is feeling good about yourself. 

As someone who has gone up and down in weight a lot for most of my life, this has actually been one of my biggest struggles. No matter what weight I am, it seems that I am never quite happy with my body. Even after loosing 100 pounds, I still felt weird and kind of unhappy. So what's a girl to do? Well, to be honest, I realized that the problem had everything to do with my own body image and not with the number on the scale. 

To help my confidence issues, I read that you should write the following phrase on a sticky note, put it on your mirror and repeat it every day, twice a day: 

I accept myself unconditionally RIGHT NOW!

Even if you're still in the process of losing weight, it's important to also work on feeling as good as you look (or hope to look). I started repeating this phrase at the beginning of the month and I've definitely found my confidence shoot straight up. So, well, now it's your turn!
