Gonzalez recommends that picking the right shade for you comes down to knowing your undertone. "Undertone plays such an important part in the foundation. You could have a more yellow or red or pink undertone. The key is to find foundation that helps balance that. We worked hard to achieve that for all skintones–from the lightest to the darkest," she said. ($14, Neutrogena)

A great nude is priceless

A nude lip can help you achieve that no-makeup makeup look that all the celebrities are rocking nowadays. "For the Latinas, I love honey and caramel shades," she says. ($8.50, Neutrogena)

Applying foundation

The trick to looking flawless like a celebrity, is applying your makeup correctly. Gonzalez explains, "For applying foundation, I recommend using a round brush to blend the foundation into your skin. When you buff it into your skin, it will feel like a second skin and looks natural. The finish makes a world of a difference and you can do it in 5 minutes." ($15, Neutrogena)

Picking the right shade for you

What is the pro tip for picking the perfect foundation shade? "I prefer to test out the shade on my chest first. If the color disappears on your skin, that's your shade," Gonzalez says, "If you see streaks or a difference between your face and neck color, then that's not the perfect match for you. Then you can add bronzer for a touch of warmth." ($14, Neutrogena)

Lip pop

Gonzalez is a true believer that a pop of color goes a long way in looking fabulous in seconds. "For busy Latina moms, my tip for instant beauty is adding a pop of color to your lips," she says. ($8.50, Neutrogena)
