A lot of exciting things happened on Instagram this week. Jessica Alba revealed a picture of her son, Hayes, who was born on New Year's Eve, Eva Longoria shared her first official baby bump pic, and America Ferrera announced she's pregnant with her first child also on New Year's Eve.

A few days following the announcement, America made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where she got real about the kind of baby names she's not about.
She begins sharing how she didn’t get to drink on New Year’s Eve, for obvious reasons.
But she did tell Stephen how her husband really tried to make up for it.
“I did not hit the clubs but my dear husband built me a club in the apartment which just means he got lights and a fog machine.”
We’re not convinced she enjoyed it though.
“I was stone-cold sober so it just felt like a junior high party,” she said looking almost a little sad.
Now, back to the baby names.
Since America has a pretty unique name herself, Stephen just had to know what she plans on naming her own child. "You are about to be a mother and you gotta name your child. You’re named America yourself. […] Would you recommend naming a child after a land mass or an IKEA,” he asked.
Her initial reaction:
Was to laugh.
Then she responded.
“Um, I’m going to go with no,” she said laughing.
But don’t get it twisted, it’s not that she doesn’t love her name.
It’s that it wasn’t easy having it growing up.
She plans on going for something less ambiguous.
“I’m going to go with something that is more of like a name,” she said cracking up.
So there you have it, America will not going be naming her child after a land mass.
And we understand.
