WATCH: ‘Teen Mom 2’ star Leah Messer puts her daughter in serious danger

There's nothing more frustrating than when a person does something very wrong and is oblivious to it. Let's take Teen Mom 2 star, Leah Messer, for instance. Homegirl recently put her 3-year-old daughter at risk by recording a video as she was driving. You could imagine the kind of response this triggered all over social media.

Apparently Messer was excited that she was taking her daughter swimming. So she decided to record the excitement on her phone, while still driving her car.

I'll give you a sec to process all that. What's even crazier about this is that she must have had some inkling in her that this wasn't okay, because she even posted about it on Instagram.

The video which was posted on Instagram was captioned: "She is soo happy! Will post some pics of her swimming soon! She is the definition of PERFECTION! #MyBaby –FYI: My eyes stayed on the road the ENTIRE time, so try to be nice on the comments. Otherwise I will block you, k? Thanks!"

Just the fact that she had to point out that her "eyes stayed on the road" speaks volumes. She knew this wasn't right and she knew the video would stir backlash. So why didn't she just pull over to shoot the video?

"I've lost real people in my real life because of distraction while driving on the phone. I promise you it's worth the wait until you're not driving," one commenter wrote. "Be safe, have fun with those babies."

Another one wrote: "You probably shouldn't be recording while driving with your toddler in a car." Messer can get upset all she wants, but this wasn't a wise or safe decision by any means. Driving while doing anything on the phone is dangerous and she should thank her lucky stars that nothing bad actually happened.
