Five weeks after giving birth to her daughter Meilani, Jennifer "JWoww" Farley is opening up about her nightmare labor story, claiming it put the "oww" in "JWoww." In a recent interview, the Jersey Shore alum spoke of her "god awful delivery," claiming the experience was so painful that she and her fiancé Roger are considering adopting their second child. Despite her characterization of the experience, any mom who hears the details will do so with a raised eyebrow and likely come to the conclusion that JWoww is one big whiner!

The newly blonde reality TV star shared that, once she was in the hospital, doctors administered an epidural and that, thanks to it, she was able to fall asleep. But once she woke up, the epidural had worn off. At the time, she was four centimeters dilated, so hospital staff told her that it would take a few hours before she was ready to give birth. JWoww says she "freaked out" because she was in so much pain and that staffers called her anesthesiologist, who took about 30 minutes to arrive and administer a second epidural. By this point, she was 7 centimeters dilated.
The doctor warned the expecting mom that the epidural could take as much as 20 minutes to take effect–unfortunately for JWoww, she was 10 centimeters dilated before the anesthesia kicked in and so, when it came time to push, she felt every ounce of pain. Still, her so-called nightmarish labor involved less than an hour without an epidural. And since she had a rapid delivery, it only took six to seven minutes of pushing for her baby girl to emerge.
Doesn't sound so bad, right? Some women have spent 18, 30, and even 55 hours in labor. Heck, a Polish woman holds the record for the longest labor ever recorded, having spent 75 days coping with intense pain. Many of these women did so without ever relying on any anesthesia, insisting on taking the natural, drug-free route when birthing their children. To them, the excruciating pain JWoww claims to have experienced must sound as trivial as a paper cut!
In a typically dramatic fashion, JWoww claims she won't be having sex for a year or two to ensure she won't get pregnant. If she does indeed become pregnant again, let's hope her delivery is as tame as this one–otherwise, she'll have to become acquainted with what real pain feels like!
