Reggaetonera Ivy Queen is one happy mamá after giving birth to a baby girl in Miami early Monday. The 41-year-old singer first revealed her pregnancy to People En Español in June and expressed excitement over becoming a mother.
She and her partner, Puerto Rican choreographer Xavier Sánchez, were low-key about the pregnancy news at first–even keeping it from her mom. Can you even believe that?!

MamásLatinas got confirmation from the Queen of Reggaeton's camp that she gave birth to a healthy baby girl via C-section. Although the baby's name has yet to be released, the infant weighed in at more than 6 pounds.
Prior to her pregnancy, there were rumors swirling that La Caballota, as Ivy is also known, and Sánchez were planning on eloping, but the Latina told the magazine that they both wanted to be parents. "Every woman wants to be a mother," the star said, adding, " I practiced a lot, but it will happen when God wants to."
Until further details are released, we want to congratulate the new mamá and father on the birth of their little girl. Being a parent is truly a special gift and we're sure that she is going to do a great job raising her little princecita. We couldn't be happier for the new parents and want to congratulate them on their newest addition. We are anticipating to see pictures of her new bundle of joy!
