Juan Gabriel died more than two years ago and he still can't seem to get away from controversy. Once he died, secret children started to come out of the woodwork and look for their piece of his multi-million dollar estate. They have been caught up in a nasty battle with his "true heirs" in the public eye ever since. And if that wasn't bad enough, Juan Gabriel's ex-manager, Joaquín Muñoz, emerged late last year with claims that El Divo de Juárez was still alive and planning to reenter society on December 15.

That day came and went with no JuanGa in sight, but the entertainer found another way to make his presence felt. It appears that he did this through El Niño Prodigio, a famous astrologer and self-proclaimed medium that crossed paths with the singer while he was alive. He sat down with Univision's Despierta America to share the details of a recent paranormal encounter he allegedly had with the star, and it will give fans chills.
El Niño's supposed power as a medium allowed Juan Gabriel to contact him.
"I had a revelation where he presented himself to me and I saw him alive in front of me," El Niño told Despierta America. He claimed that Juan Gabriel appeared to him while he was asleep, and when he woke up El Divo started speaking to him. He knew he wasn’t dreaming because he could feel Juan Gabriel’s presence as if he were living.
"I am going to speak to you like a father would speak to a son," El Niño claims Juan Gabriel said.
"I want to be left alone," he added. "Let me be at peace. I want my soul to rise to where it needs to go. I want to be remembered with love and not with drama, gossip, and negativity. I need you to tell the world that I’m not among the living. I am gone. I am not alive. I am not alive."
People have been speculating nonstop that Juan Gabriel faked his death.
The existence of an official death certificate from the state of California has not shut down the rumor. One of the main arguments conspiracy theorists use to back up their claim that JuanGa is still alive is that an autopsy was not performed on his body. The fact that he was cremated means he can't be re-examined, which only adds more fuel to the fire.
On top of that, despite having four official children, Juan Gabriel left everything to his son Iván Aguilera (who was also his manager during the last eight years of his life) and tasked him with splitting the estate with his other three siblings. This made Iván a target, and he was accused of having something to do with his father's death in a wild plot to prevent Joao Aguilera, one of JuanGa's new alleged children, from inheriting anything from Juan Gabriel. Iván denies everything and is currently involved in a huge defamation lawsuit where he is trying to clear his name.
Needless to say, the fallout from Juan Gabriel's death has been seriously messy.
All of the new mystery surrounding him laid the perfect groundwork to make some people believe that he could be alive. When his ex-manager started telling anyone that would listen to him that Juan Gabriel faked his death, it created a media storm, and some people actually believed that they would be seeing the singer in concert again. Now it appears that El Divo has contacted El Niño to put an end to these wild claims once and for all.
El Niño was floored by the apparition because he could also see his father’s face, who also passed away, in Juan Gabriel's.
His father is also dead. He grabbed his phone after Juan Gabriel left and a photo that they took together popped up due to a memory feature that resurfaces old pictures. El Niño doesn’t believe in coincidences. He took it as a sign and went on social media to say that JuanGa "came back from beyond to recognize me as his son."
"I think he has used me to give this message to the world because this has gone viral," he said.
"I am in all of the newspapers. I am all over the place. I’ve gotten calls from so many TV channels," he added. El Niño is definitely getting his word out.
El Niño had an answer for people skeptical about his encounter with JuanGa.
"The people that know me know who I am," he said. "This show is on Monday, and I’ve been here since Friday. People know that I don’t joke around, and I am a medium. This is something that I have done since I was a kid. And if he came to me to give me this message I have to spread it because I can’t keep this to myself."
Juan Gabriel did not comment about the drama surrounding his children at the time, according to El Niño.
The medium still had an opinion. "I feel like there are a lot of people who are trying to take advantage of this situation," he said. He feels that Juan Gabriel would want his kids to be more united than ever before. "He wants there to be unity, love, and peace. He wants to rest."
However, El Niño did get a new message while he was on the program.
He urged Juan Gabriel's children to pay attention to the people around them like lawyers and new associates who are only looking to get money out of this situation. If they don’t open their eyes they could be left with nothing.
El Niño insists that he is not looking to gain anything out of delivering JuanGa’s message.
He is only doing his job as a medium. According to him, Juan Gabriel is dead and is trying to rest in peace. The only thing El Divo de Juárez wants is for his fans to remember him with love. We hope this is the end of the speculation surrounding Juan Gabriel's death, but we know that there will always be people who won’t let this story go.
