They looked so handsome that a lady paid almost $100,000 to give our Ricky a kiss. However, not everybody received them with the same gusto. The AIDS Gala
Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef came out as a couple in Sao Paulo, Brazil, during the amFAR Inspiration Gala for The Foundation for AIDS Research.
They had made it kind of public a few weeks ago
The first kind of confirmation we had about their relationship was during the last week of March 2016, when artist Jwan Yosef published this image of the both of them while traveling together in Japan.
He is an artist
Ricky's new man is a plastics artist, based in London. He spoke about his art to Metal magazine: "I’ve always painted, so in many ways it’s always come naturally to me. It was an obvious step for me from an early age. However, it is not just something you become overnight but more so evolve and work yourself into over time."
He is younger
He is 32 and Ricky is 44.
Immigrant roots
He moved from Syria to Sweden when he was 4, but has been living in London for a while. Who knows if he will relocate his studio to New York, Miami, Puerto Rico or wherever Ricky decides to call home.
A complex cultural background
According to an interview with U+Mag art magazine, his dad is a Kurdish Muslim and his mom is Armenian Greek Orthodox.
He likes to work out
No doubt about it, but this is guy in his own words: "I need to keep my body going. It is vanity as much as it is health. One sticks out, no doubt, in having this build⎯and not always in the best way."
He is super proud of Ricky

Ricky's fans were overjoyed for him
Ricky received lots of congrats for his new love from his fans, not without some jelousy from some, including me.
Not everybody was happy
Ricky announced his confirmed his relationship with Yosef with the photo and a simple "Yup!". Unfortunately, some reactions were not nice and they were called all kinds of terrible names. Haters are gonna hate, just saying.
