A 3-year-old girl is being hailed a hero after she saved her pregnant mother's life last month, by cracking a cellphone password and calling help when the woman suffered from a sudden seizure.
In mid-February, Massachusetts dad Kevin Lynch woke up with a severe stomach bug and drove himself to the emergency room. He was still at the hospital later that morning when his then-prenant wife, Tiffany, also fell ill while at home with their daughters, 3-year-old Aryanna and 1-year-old Camryn. At eight months into her pregnancy, Tiffany started feeling extremely dizzy and ended up collapsing. That's when little Aryanna sprung into action.

According to doctors, Tiffany fell unconscious for an estimated 20 minutes after suffering a seizure brought on by severe dehydration. With no other adults in the house, Aryanna grabbed her parent's cell, unlocked it, and called Tiffany's cousin, Kristine Munnis, saying, "Mommy's not waking up. I need you."
After getting Aryanna's message, Munnis called 911. Emergency responders arrived to the home soon after, with Aryanna letting them in and then watching her younger sister as they examined Tiffany. Wow, this little girl is amazing!
The craziest part? The Lynches say they had never taught Aryanna the password to her mom's cellphone, which is unlocked by drawing a picture on the screen. "I think she's seen my wife using the phone she just memorized it, and when she needed to know it, she just knew what to do," Kevin said.
Tiffany was hospitalized for three days but she and her new baby girl are now fine. Meanwhile, Aryanna was honored at a local police station with a citation from the mayor and a safety officer's award. Aww … her parents must be so proud!
Amazingly enough, this is actually the second time in just a matter of days that a toddler has come to the rescue of a parent with a smartphone. Earlier this week, it was revealed that a 2-year-old saved his mom after a dog attack by using FaceTime.
Clearly, it's important to teach your kids the basics of using a phone and calling for help in emergencies. Who knows? It could end up saving your life!
