If you munch on foods such as chips, fries, and other unhealthier options, obviously you are going to have to worry about your waistline expanding. That's the last thing you want as we are entering bikini season.

The good news is you don't have to starve on your diet plan if you eat the right snacks. Check out these flat belly snack options below!

Almonds: This tiny nut contains protein, monounsaturated fats, and vitamin E that nourish your skin, hair, and keep you full for extended periods of time.

Avocado: One of my favorite fruits to snack on is the avocado. It's filled with good fats, lowers cholesterol, gives you luscious hair, and most importantly keeps your tummy trim.

Berries: Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries are all good fruit options to have to trim belly fat. They're all low in sugar, therefore you won't have to worry too much about going over your daily dose of sugar content.

Peanut butter: As a high protein spread, this is a good option to have as a dip for your fruits or on its own. You can experiment with peanut, almond, sunflower seeds, even cashew butter. Make sure to opt for the natural organic versions which are less packed with sugar.

Popcorn: Next time you have a craving for starchy carbs, instead of chips reach for air-popped popcorn. When you make it yourself you can control how much oil and salt goes into it. Season with your favorite herbs and spices for a flavorful snack.
