Cellulite consists on those lumpy fat deposits that build under the skin of your butt and thighs. These deposits change the skin's appearance, causing it to appear stretched and dimpled. Why does this happen? It happens because your body is polluted, because you are not feeding it well enough and it creates fatty, toxic and water deposits in your skin. These toxins come from the food you eat.

Can't you see it?! We are making ourselves look bad because of what we eat! In order to keep cellulite from our body we need to have a healthy balanced diet and to exercise! So let's start by looking at the changes you need to make to your diet.

First, you need to eliminate caffeine, processed foods, sugar, and sodium. Replace them with fresh healthy foods, especially from these five groups of foods:

Foods rich in antioxidants: Berries, blueberries, tomatoes, mango, and papaya are very rich in antioxidants. Carrots, cantaloupe and sweet potatoes are a great source of Vitamin A, which helps smooth out your skin, thanks to its collagen production.

Whole grains like brown rice: You need to eat good carbs and whole grains will help you clean up your body and keeping those cellulite creating toxics away. Think of it as a way of detoxification.

Fibers like asparagus: Asparagus are a stress reliever because of the great amount of folic acid they have. You want to try and keep as relaxed as possible, because it turns out that stress can increase fat storage on your body.

Good fats like avocados and fish oil: We cannot say enough about the good fats and how important they are for our diet. When it comes to helping kick cellulite these foods are good because they can strengthen the skin and give it elasticity. With fish oil, for example, it is good for reducing inflammation and boosting the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems.

Lots of water: Hydrate, hydrate and hydrate some more! There is no other drink that is more natural and free of toxics, and fat than water. Don't skip it!

Now you know how to change your diet for the better of your body and so you can wear those shorts and bikinis again. Keep in mind always that the less processed foods you consume the better it is for your body.
