Lose 10 pounds in 10 days with Beyonce’s diet! (VIDEO)

Beyonce has one of those bodies that many women envy and most of us want to achieve. Fan and celebrity dieter Rebecca Harrington decided that she would try out Beyonce's strict diet which she did for the movie Dreamgirls and post-pregnancy. The star's weight loss secret is The Master Cleanse, an all-liquid diet that has helped her lose as many as 20 pounds for her on-screen role and 60 pounds after having Blue Ivy.

Harrington followed in the steps of her idol, and her results were quite dramatic too!

To do the Master Cleanse, you need to create a "lemonade" that you drink nine times daily for 10 days. The ingredients consist of grade B maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and lemons, which you have to get used to drinking since solid food isn't allowed.

In addition to the lemonade, dieters must drink a salt water flush that is supposed to cleanse the digestive tract. So how did Beyonce's devoted fan do on the diet? She writes in New York magazine's The Cut column that the first day was hard, but it got easier as she went along. She even lost four pounds in a span of three days!

The best part is Harrington indulged on pizza on her cheat day, and eventually on day seven, she started transitioning into food. The solid diet that followed included lots of protein from egg whites, turkey, and yellowtail sashimi. In addition, Harrington  copied Beyonce's two hour workout routine which she found to be the most challenging. She got through it in the only way you would stay motivated on the Beyonce diet–by listening to the singer's music of course!

In the end Harrington lost a total of 10 pounds in 10 days and said she felt like a whole new woman. Kudos to her for following this diet, because I don't think I'd have as much will power! As with any weight loss plan if you choose to do it, first consult with your doctor. I mean if Beyonce can do it, then why can't we?
