Mix egg whites in a bowl and rub on your face. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes and then rinse. Your skin will feel tighter and less greasy.

This ingredient is super rich in lactic acid, which is often a main ingredient in expensive creams and peels. Adding a cup to your bath will soften and brighten your skin–especially in the cold winter months. Buttermilk can also be used as a hair mask. Just blend along with banana, honey and avocado.

Think beyond pesto with basil. The herb is super useful for repairing dry and sun-damaged hair. Just blend together with water until you have the consistency of a paste. Add to hair and let sit for at least 30 minutes then rinse.
