How to make this yummy Nicaraguan Macuá cocktail (RECIPE)

The Macuá is a Central American bird and since 2006, it's also the national cocktail of Nicaragua. A concoction made of rum, guava, orange and lemon juices, el Macuá is the perfect tropical rum cocktail. So, I invite you to shake it and surprise your other half with a drink that I'm sure you both will love as Nicaragüans do. Keep reading for the recipe. Salud!

__Macuá
__Makes 1 cocktail

__Ingredients
__1 1/2 oz. of Flor de Caña rum
1 oz. of guava juice
1 oz. of orange juice
1/2 oz. of lemon juice
1/3 oz. of simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
Orange slice and candied cherry for garnishing

__Preparation
__1. In a shaker filled with ice, add all the ingredients.
2. Shake well for 20 to 30 seconds.
3. Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
4. Garnish with an orange slice and a candied cherry.
