The pressure to look good in Hollywood is overwhelming. The industry perpetuates specific standards of beauty that most of the women in this world don't possess naturally. Many entertainers go under the knife in an effort to beat their competition by looking better than them. This need to fit in and negative self image creates a toxic environment, which often ends in regret. Some of the world's biggest stars are no exception.
More from MamásLatinas: Celebrities who have actually opened up about getting plastic surgery
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, there were 1.8 million invasive cosmetic procedures and 15.7 minimally invasive jobs performed in 2017 in the United States! There is no doubt that many of the people getting this work done have been influenced by the "perfection" they see in the media. But these beloved figures that many of these patients want to emulate were not only not born this way, they don't like what they look like post-surgery, and they are often Photoshopped to portray an even more unrealistic version of themselves. It is impossible to keep up with how they look.
From routine botox injections to transformational breast augmentations to dangerous butt injections, the celebrities in this list have done it all. They wish they could take back the procedures they underwent and some have been lucky enough to reverse the changes they made. Today they are using their platforms to educate their followers and keep them from making a permanent mistake.
Cameron Diaz didn’t like how Botox transformed her face.

"I've tried [Botox] before, where it was like [a] little tiny touch of something,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2014. “It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, 'No, I don't want to [be] like [that]' … I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all."
The actress has a newfound appreciation for her wrinkles.

"I love it, I don't mind. It's like, 'Guess what this means, I've smiled my whole life,’ she added. “I love life. I'm happy I don't have a problem with that."
Kylie Jenner admitted to overdoing it with lip fillers.

"I got excited and felt like I needed to do a lot,” she told big sister Kim Kardashian in an interview for Allure magazine back in 2016. “And then you guys were like, 'Kylie, you need to chill.' And then I had to go back and have it fixed, and it was a crazy process. Thank God I didn't end up on Botched."
Kylie got started because of an ignorant boy.

“I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips,” she shared during an episode of her show Life of Kylie last year. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ But I took that really hard. Just when a guy you like says that, I don’t know, it just really affected me. I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty. I really wanted bigger lips. I would overline my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips. And then finally I was like this lip liner isn’t doing it. [I] ended up getting my lips done.”
Victoria Beckham reversed her breast augmentations.

The designer wrote a letter to her 18-year-old self for British Vogue in 2016 that revealed her regrets. "I should probably say, don't mess with your boobs," Beckham wrote. "All those years I denied it – stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you've got."
It is rumored that she had more than one boob job.

She allegedly had two augmentations and a reduction over a period of 10 years.
Lupita Jones wishes she had never gotten breast implants.

The winner of the 1991 Miss Universe competition admitted to getting a nose job before the competition. But it is a recent breast augmentation that she confessed she would take back in 2016 because she feels it doesn’t go with her body.
The Mexican beauty queen thinks they don’t fit her athletic frame.

“I shouldn’t have done it, to be honest, don’t do it, there’s no point, I am more athletic, I prefer the athletic look and [the breast implants] don’t go with it,” she said in Spanish. “But alas, these are the decisions that we make.”
Lucía Méndez regrets getting her nose done.

“The surgery on my nose was good on the one hand or bad on the other hand. Yes, I regretted it, because there was a risk,” she said in Spanish according to Telemundo.
She has advice for other people considering going under the knife.

“I think that in this day and age you don’t need a surgeon, you need a good clinic, a good dermatologist, a good nutritionist, and a disciplined workout regimen,” Lucía said.
Zuleyka Rivera feels that her plastic surgery was unnecessary.

The Puerto Rican winner of the 2006 Miss Universe crown got surgery to get ready for the competition. She told Suelta la Sopa that she now feels that she could have won the competition without getting any work done.
She ended up feeling like a fraud.

Zuleyka shared that it was difficult to hold the title of the most beautiful woman in the world when she didn’t honestly feel that way. She was unable to keep up the strict diet and exercise regimen she used to prepare for the competition after she won because of her new hectic schedule. Zuleyka gained weight, which made her feel unworthy.
Alejandra Espinoza is another celebrity who reversed a breast augmentation.

The 2007 winner of Nuestra Belleza Latina had her implants removed for an important reason — she didn’t want to perpetuate the stereotypical image of a sexy woman.
The TV personality wanted people to focus on her talents.

“I wasn’t going to let people think that my accomplishments were because I looked like the prototypical woman with large breasts, the hair… No, I wanted to stand out based on what I have to give,” she told Despierta America in Spanish in 2014.
Alejandra Guzman almost died over bad butt injections.

It took multiple visits to doctors all over the world for the singer to realize that she was injected with a terrible substance. In 2009 she shared that they gave her an enormous infection that could have paralyzed her!
Today Alejandra is warning fans against following in her footsteps.

“Don’t do what I did because I shouldn’t have done it, it should be done in another way, not the way I did,” she said in Spanish.
Jessica Cediel also had a terrible experience with butt injections.

The Colombian actress had to get surgery to have the foreign substances removed.
She is scarred for life.

"This has been the most unpleasant, sad, and traumatic experience I have ever had,” Jessica told MezcalTV in 2016. “It has been the lowest point of my life, and to be honest, it was also a great learning experience, but I also have a lot of scars.”
Kourtney Kardashian thinks getting a boob job when she was in her early 20s was a mistake.

“I had my boobs done but if I could go back, I wouldn’t have done it. I was so cute before,” she reportedly told Showbiz Spy in 2011."
She is considering going under the knife again.

“I’ve realized that I was made to look a certain way and I’m considering removing them.”
