I've seen some weird beauty trends in my time. The kind of things that go viral straight up shocks me sometimes. But the latest is so over-the-top, it will leave you on the verge of puking. There's a new Instagram account called @Tweezist, that's dedicated to removing ingrown hairs with tweezers. I wish I was kidding, but I'm not. Seriously, who comes up with this stuff?

When I tell you that this entire Instagram account is dedicated to the removal of ingrown hairs, I mean there's literally nothing else on this page. Each clip shows a zoomed in shot of a pair of tweezers pulling out an ingrown hair, with some hairs being a lot more stubborn than others. The shots are so close-up, you can literally see the skin scrape off along with the hair. I'm telling you, it's too much!

But as difficult as these videos are to watch, it's hard not to watch, if that makes any sense. Take for instance this one video clip of a curly hair. The video shows a zoomed in shot of a cute curly hair that was fighting a set of tweezers. It's enough to make you cringe and you can't help but keep watching. You want to see if the tweezers eventually gets the pelito out, which it eventually does. There's just something strangely satisfying about watching ingrown hairs slowly being pulled out. I don't know what it is, but you can't judge.
