I've never had a complex with my stretch marks. Like most girls with a booty, I have very light ones that developed during puberty when I finally grew a butt. But I understand why a lot of women try to hide or get rid of theirs. We live in a society that's brainwashed us into believing that flaws are the opposite of beautiful. It's pretty effed up if you really think about it, especially because we don't put these kinds of crazy beauty standards on men. But one woman is completely changing the way we view stretch marks and imperfections. She's literally turning them into art!

Body positive activist, feminist and Barcelona-based artist Cinta Tort Cartro is all about embracing your stretch marks and is using her art to empower women to love their imperfections. She uses beautiful rainbow palettes to fill in "flaws" like stretch marks and even period stains, and it's pretty mind-blowing. She's literally turning stretch marks and more into works of art.

"It all started as a form of expression, but it quickly turned into social commentary of the male-dominated culture we live in," Cartro told Yahoo Beauty. "I grew up feeling sometimes out of place.
