Here’s why this “chicken cutlet” will change your makeup habits forever!

I've done some pretty weird things in the name of beauty. I've conditioned my hair with mayo, used mouth wash to combat dry scalp–the works! But nothing beats the makeup hacks women have been trying these days. The latest: Silicone boob pads are being used as makeup sponges. That's right, the chicken cutlets you used in high school to fill up your bras are now a very useful beauty tool. Seriously, what's the inspiration behind this?

More from MamásLatinas: You'll never believe the new method to get rid of stretch marks

If you're wondering WHY women are doing this, it's all thanks to SiliSponge, an actual silicone makeup sponge that looks JUST like a boob pad, only a little less nude and a lot more transparent. It's a real thing and the people behind Molly Cosmetics are the ones that created it. The product, which retails for $9.90, has already been restocked four times.

It was designed to help blend makeup onto your skin with the help of its smooth surface. The key is to help you use as little product as possible. That way you're not wasting it or putting too much on like you would with a regular sponge or foundation brush.

But wait, it gets better. It's also super easy to clean. All you have to do is rinse it with a little soap and water and it's as good as new. So far it's only sold on Hong Kong-based website Molly Cosmetics, but it's only a matter of time before it's available in the U.S.

We can't help but wonder, could this be the new makeup tool? Could this be the next Beautyblender? Who knows, but after watching a tutorial on Molly Cosmetics IG page, we're thinking this thing might actually work. We'll be keeping an eye out for when this thing comes out. It could be a total game changer in the beauty world.
