It looks like former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham is already starting off the new year on the wrong foot. The 23-year-old recently had a lip procedure done and let me tell you, girl, it does NOT look good! I don't know why she thought it was a good idea to get lip implants instead of lip injections, but apparently her lips inflamed before the implants were even put it. She had a major allergic reaction to the anesthetic the doctors injected her with and now she looks like Leela from that animated TV show Futurama. And I'm not being mean–she said it herself!

When is Farrah Abraham going to give plastic surgery a rest? The girl is only 23 and she's already had her nose, chin and boobs done. And apparently now she's done her lips. Problem is, they didn't exactly come out how she would have liked. The allergic reaction to the anesthetic enlarged Farrah's lips so much so, she's unrecognizable. The poor thing looks like a freaking blow-up doll. Fortunately for her, she's had a good attitude about the whole thing.
She actually posted a picture of her inflamed lips to Twitter with the message, "Girlfriends don't say I didn't warn ya! #BOTCHED California #ER #fixit." Then a few hours later put up a side by side picture of herself and Leela from Futurama on Twitter with the caption, "Gotta love my new look." Maybe her sense of humor is a sign that her botched job will eventually get fixed? Well, according to John Zannis, M.D., a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, that all depends on the seriousness of the damage.
Zannis claims three things could have happened here. She could have suffered a hematoma, which is when a collection of blood causes massive swelling. Or it could have been an extremely rare inflammatory response to the fillers. Both of these problems are reversible. But if Farrah was injected with any kind of unapproved or unsterile substance, she might be stuck with these big lips forever. "This is almost always done by non-board-certified plastic surgeons and can have devastating effects including tissue necrosis and permanent loss," Zannis told Hollywoodlife.com.
Let's cross our fingers that isn't the case. Could you imagine if this botched job was permanent? Poor Farrah! I'm wishing her a quick and speedy recovery. No one deserves to look this crazy forever!
