Mom loses all her hair after extension disaster that could happen to anyone

All of these beauty mishap stories lately have been scaring me senseless! The latest incident happened to 38-year-old Alexis Stanton who had a traveling beautician come to her home and apply extensions to her hair. She trusted the woman because she'd had other beauty procedures done by her.

Although the beautician claimed to be trained to apply hair extensions, somehow when she worked on Stanton's hair, the WORST beauty disaster imagineable happened.

Stanton, a mother of two, says she recalls that the extensions were making her scalp feel sore midway through the session. At night, the pain kept getting worse, but she thought it was a side effect from the extensions which the beautician told her would subside in a day. That didn't happen and when Stanton went to a hair salon to get them removed, she received the craziest news of all. It turns out the extensions had been SUPER GLUED to her scalp.

The poor woman had to rush to the doctors who gave her an ointment to apply but it did nothing to soothe the pain. One of the hairdressers who saw Stanton at a local beauty salon says she'd never seen anyone apply hair extensions with glue. Normally when applying extensions, a keratin-based glue is used. However with super glue it's a whole different story which is why it is not recommended.

Stanton ended up having to shave her head and now police are investigating the case. Well, as you'd expect, the beautician who did the botched job calls the mom's claims "exaggerated." She says that the mom knew she wasn't a licensed beautician and she still had her apply the extensions. Stanton is still affected by the incident and says she doesn't wish this disaster on any woman. "I'm still in pain in my head. It's damaged my scalp. I've cried so much since it happened I don't think I've got any more tears left."

Oh my god! I think I would have lost if if something like this happened to me. I'm shocked that this beautician would even attempt to apply extensions using super glue! She's lucky that the woman didn't get a serious infection or worse. Hopefully Stanton will recover from this trauma but if I were her I'd sue that woman for all she's worth.
