Find out if your man will be a good dad, just make him drop his pants!

Great news for men with small balls! The National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America published research from a study that found that "testicular volume is inversely correlated with nurturing-related brain activity in human fathers."

That's a whole lot of words to say: Men with small balls make for better dads. I'm not really sure how they measured men's testicles, but I do find the results interesting.

Emory anthropologist James Rilling, whose lab conducted the research, says, "Our data suggests that the biology of human males reflects a trade-off between investments in mating versus parenting efforts." My non-scientific translation: big balls equals dude focused on getting laid by as many different women as possible, small balls equals guy who is happy to stick around and take care of the kid(s) he produced with one woman.

I'm still wondering how one measures balls, though? Tape measure, cupping, weight, eyeballing? *¿Quién sabe?

*Researchers studied 70 men and their testes. They determined whether each man had big or small balls, then they showed them pictures of kids (their own and children of others) and a picture of an adult stranger, and monitored an area of the brain associated with parental motivation.

I imagine this research could be of great use to women who are dating and searching for men who will make great fathers. Perhaps women should ask men right off the bat if they have big balls or small balls or ask a set of potential suitors to line up and drop trou for strictly scientific comparison purposes.

On a personal note, I am married to a man who is a PHENOMENAL father. That should tell you something about the size of his balls. Note to husband: Don't worry, Babe; it says absolutely nothing about the size of your penis.
