All 18-year-old Linda Perez wanted was for her breasts to be bigger. But instead of going to a reputable plastic surgeon, the Miami teen ended up in a cosmetic center with an anesthesiologist with a criminal record. Now the beautiful girl is in critical condition and her parents are trying to figure out how this happened.

Linda went to Coral Gables Cosmetic Center Monday morning and after only a couple of hours there, she was transported to Mercy Hospital when her heart stopped beating. According to CBS4 News, the teen was essentially dead when she arrived at the hospital where she remains in critical condition with brain damage.
Meanwhile, Linda's parents are praying for a miracle as they try to piece together how a breast augmentation surgery ended up so badly.
According to Linda's mom, Mariela Diaz, getting breast implants had been one of her daughter's dreams for a long time because she hated how small they were. Apparently, this was not the first plastic surgery the teen had gotten to make herself look better. Her mom told El Nuevo Herald that she had undergone a buttock augmentation too.
My heart breaks looking at the pictures of the striking teen before the botched surgery and the ones of her laying unconscious on a hospital bed. I know that most plastic surgeries don't go wrong, but when they do, they can cost you your life.
I'm not blaming her parents at all, but if my 18-year-old daughter wanted to do something like this, I would do everything in my power to prevent it. Why risk your life for something so vain?
