Two amazing teen sisters lifted a 3,000 pound tractor off their father and saved his life after a freak accident occurred at their home. Yes, you heard right. Lord knows how, but 16-year-old Hannah and 14-year-old Haylee miraculously managed to lift this overturned vehicle off of their father's body. Maybe it was the adrenaline rush that allowed them to pick up something that huge or maybe their strength combined is THAT strong.
36-year-old Portland man, Jeff Smith, was reportedly trying to pull a tree stump from his yard on Monday when the machine suddenly flipped over and pinned him to the ground. Thankfully, Smith's 14-year-old daughter, Haylee, and her 16-year-old sister, Hannah, were walking a neighbor's dog at the time and heard their father's cries for help. Without thinking twice, the two girls sprung into action.
The pair immediately called 911 and then they somehow managed to hoist the tractor up enough for their dad to get his torso free. Hannah then fetched their neighbor, who used his tractor to pull the man out the rest of the way.

This is not the first time I've heard about someone being able to do something like this during a crisis. Many believe that it is truly possible for an adrenaline-charged person to temporarily gain massive strength. Could it be just a myth? Who knows! But these two girls did manage to use some incredible physical power to lift that tractor off of their father, right?
Smith, who said he felt like as the air was getting squeezed out of his lungs with every breath, is also in awe of his daughters' actions. "If these two hadn't have been here to hear me…" he told the Democrat-Herald. "They saved my life."
And as if their heroic moves weren't unbelievable enough, the incident was made even weirder after the girls revealed they had originally planned to go to a friend's house after school and weren't even supposed to be home at the time the accident occurred! Talk about a crazy stroke of luck!
The father was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for a broken wrist and other injuries. Though I'm sure it was a scary ordeal to go through, the family has been able to maintain a sense of humor about the whole thing now that the dad is OK. In fact, they still have the tractor and have given it a hilarious, new nickname: Satan.
