Baby talk is probably the sweetest thing on this planet to listen to. At 7 weeks, most babies are cooing and getting used to their vowel sounds, but a British baby just showed just how advanced she really is. Evelyn Matthews was videotaped saying "hello" to her mom. I was skeptical when I first heard the story, but the clip seriously blew my mind.

This baby girl does say "hello." It's so clear and happens at the final seconds of the video. My pediatrician always tells us that babies understand way more than we think. That's why reading, singing and talking to your baby even in the early stages in life is key. A study found that by age 3, some kids are exposed to millions of words.
Babies are sponges! From the video, it's obvious that baby Evelyn is really trying to take in what her mom is telling her. She's very observant and trying to mimic her sound. By the end, she clearly says "hello." Imagine what she'll be saying when she's 1! Her mother better get ready.
