Lynlee HopeBoemer has two birthdays to celebrate. The newborn was diagnosed with a spinal tumor while in the womb. At 23 weeks of gestation, doctors removed the baby from the mother's uterus to operate on the tumor. She was then placed back inside of the womb and was reborn 13 weeks later. This story gets even more amazing and will make you believe in miracles.

Baby Lynlee is currently healthy and just celebrated her 4-month milestone. Her mother Margaret Boemer has been through hell and back with her pregnancy. She was initially pregnant with twins, but suffered a miscarriage six weeks into the pregnancy.
Then, during her 16-week checkup, her unborn baby was diagnosed with sacrococcygeal teratoma, a rare tumor located at the base of the baby's tailbone. It's so rare that it only appears in one out of 35,000 to 40,000 pregnancies.
According to The Washington Post, she was "strongly recommended" to terminate her pregnancy. The Boemers decided to go for a second opinion and opted for surgery at the Texas Children's Hospital. "I was very nervous and scared, but my husband and I were focused on whatever we needed to do to try to save our baby," she told the publication.
When you're a mother, you try to make the best decision for you and your family. In Margaret's case, getting a second opinion was a matter of life or death.
Thankfully, baby Lynlee is happy and healthy. The little angel who was born twice now gets to celebrate two birthdays! That's definitely a perk.
