Jacqie Rivera is 34 weeks pregnant but doing her best to stay safe and calm amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The singer shared a post on Instagram with information that other pregnant women could follow to keep themselves protected.

She also opened up about her birth plan, and because of the spread of the coronavirus, she is doing things a bit differently than usual for her fourth baby. Jacqie said she's keeping a positive attitude and relying on her faith to get through this, but she also advised everyone to follow the rules and necessary steps to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe.

She recommended for women under 28 weeks of pregnancy to self-isolate to be safe, and for others to avoid large crowds, sick people, and for them to up their water and vitamin C intake. "I'm trying to maintain a positive attitude and trust that God has everything under control," she captioned the post. "But also, we have to do our part. Especially because our immune system is more sensitive in general when we are pregnant. Protect yourself and your baby."
She shared some details about her birth plan.
With the number of coronavirus cases increasing all over the country and patients overtaking hospitals, there are so many concerns pregnant women have about giving birth in the near future. A fan asked Jacqie in the comments if she is opting for the possibilities of a midwife or home birth and she revealed that is what she is choosing. This may be a good option for moms with low-risk pregnancies, especially since new rules are coming into play where dads are no longer allowed in the delivery room in some hospitals.
Jacqie provided comfort for other expecting moms.
A pregnant fan who is 31 weeks into her pregnancy shared her own concerns in the comments sections and Jacqie did her best to be comforting. She suggested the fan stay home, to drink more water, and up her intake of vitamin C.
Some fans even offered her help.
A fan who said she worked at Target sweetly offered to help Jacqie, who is 34 weeks pregnant, and said that she could drop off anything she might need since they are close to each other. That is so sweet. People helping people. That's what it's all about.
She has been staying home with her kids.

Not only is she taking care of the baby in her belly, she now also has to look after her kids who are home from school during this outbreak. She has her hands full!
