Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have a lot to be grateful for. The happy couple have not only found true love in one another, but they have masterfully blended both of their families together. The singer and the former baseball star each have two kids from their previous marriages. J.Lo shares her 10-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Alex shares daughters 10-year-old Ella and 14-year-old Natasha, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. The pair opened up to People about what it's been like to bring their kids together and how you fortunate they feel seeing them get along so well.
Jennifer Lopez revealed that the kids see each other as "bonus" siblings.
The couple was nervous at first to introduce their babies to each other, but it worked out seemlessly! “Kids are so beautiful and open to love and new friends,” the "Limitless" singer said in the interview published Wednesday, December 12. “I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away. [It was] ‘I get a new bonus brother and sisters to hang out with all the time and it’s nice’.” That is SO sweet!
Alex told the publication that the kids are the best of friends.
“Our kids have become best friends and that keeps us both grounded and appreciative,” Alex said about the kids' relationships. “We couldn’t have asked for anything better than the four of them getting along as they do.” Our hearts can't take this cuteness! Now all that's missing is a little brother for Max to play with.
Not only do they get bonus siblings, the kids also get a bonus mom and dad.
It's so great to see how Jen's kids look up to the athlete and how sweet and caring he is with them. His daughters also look up to Jen and they spend a lot of time with her, it's adorable!
Ever since the couple started dating in 2017, their kids have been spending a lot of time together.
The pair has been spending the holidays together with their kids and sharing a lot of their lives with each other. They even carpool to school together!
The lovebirds still haven't lost sight of how special it is that they have one another.
“We love each other and we love our life together,” the Second Act actress told the magazine. “The exciting part of our love is that we’re both very aware of how lucky we are to have found each other.” Both of them have had the ups and downs of their dating lives on full display to the public for years, so seeing them so wrapped up and happy in this relationship is so adorable.
