There's nothing wrong with letting a kid be a kid, unless you're a celebrity parent. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is very familiar with being judged for her choices but she isn't one to let unfair criticism slide. She takes her role as a mom to her two kids, Lorenzo and Giovanna, very seriously.

Mom-shamers decided to target her on an Instagram picture of her daughter at Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's wedding shower over the weekend. They had a problem with Giovanna's outfit and accused Snooki of not brushing her hair. Their ignorant words caught the reality star's attention and she quickly put them in their place.
A large part of the 'Jersey Shore' crew got together to celebrate The Situation and his fiancé, Lauren Pesce.
So sweet!
Snooki shared an adorable photo of Giovanna and Jenni "JWoww" Farley's daughter, Meilani with her followers and all hell broke loose.
We don't see anything wrong with this picture but leave it to people hiding behind a phone to spew negativity at a child.
The criticism directed at Giovanna was completely uncalled for.
We didn't see anything wrong with her hair or her clothes.
But Snooki did not take their judgements lying down and clapped back at the ridiculous comments.
She singled out a particularly nasty comment about her daughter's outfit to defend her parenting."I let my daughter pick her own outfits. I let her express herself," she wrote. Snooki's choice can inspire Giovanna's creativity.
She didn't need to defend her daughter's hair, it looked perfectly fine, but her explanation made her critics look more ridiculous.
"We drove with the windows down singing and enjoying life," Snooki said. "Sorry I can't always brush and braid her hair like you, perfect mom."
She will defend her daughter tooth and nail, telling one of her supporters "I'll cut a bitch."
Luckily, Snooki had plenty of supporters standing up for her in the comments.
They called out the bullies for being out of place, not that Snooki needed any help.
These little girls deserve better from the world.
We hope the people who left unsolicited advice on Snooki's Instagram think twice about doing that again.
