Have a bedtime routine.
"My kids go to bed early so they are well rested! I actually start the early bedtime routine the week before school starts so their bodies can get used to it."
Snacks are so important.
"The nutritional value of your kids’ snacks is extremely important! You want to make sure you give them healthy snack options that will help get them through the day without feeling sluggish. Throwing in a Yummy Spoonfulsfrozen pouch is the best way to ensure they get essential nutrition while at school."
Planning meals ahead makes life so much easier.
"I take school meals very seriously because I know it can affect their performance throughout the day. I pack full meals with a variety of healthy foods. I try to set a menu for the week on Sunday or Monday. Writing down the menu also helps me visualize the variety to make sure I am not feeding them the same veggies or fruits over and over again!"
Ease your child's fears and concerns by talking.
"It’s important to be proactive. We have an early dinner and talk about what they look forward to as well as what makes them nervous so everyone is comfortable and fears are gone."
Stay positive and hopeful for their success.
"My hope for my kids as they start a new school year is that they continue to be enthusiastic about learning throughout the year. I encourage them to write in color your own journals [at home]."
