Nicole Richie fits into 6-year-old daughter’s clothes & it’s not okay

Little kid outfits should be off limits for grown women. Nicole Richie recently pulled a Bethenny Frankel by borrowing her 6-year-old daughter Harlow's pink faux fur jacket and bragging about it on social media. "Thanks for letting me borrow your jacket Harlow," she wrote on her Instagram before attending a Baby2Baby event. She looks cute, but why brag about fitting into a little girl's jacket? I personally think that something is wrong if you're that thin and it's not a good example for the child either.

The 33-year-old celeb took a cute selfie, which captured half of her face and petal pink jacket. The cuteness shouldn't overpower how incredibly disturbing and wrong this is. Granted, Frankel's picture was way more provocative and shocking since she had on her daughter's Hello Kitty pajamas, but Richie isn't any better. We all know she has dealt with weight issues for years and dropped almost 90 pounds earlier this year. Some have even wondered if she battles with anoxeria.

Her daughter may grow up with weight and body image issues because of this. I think the danger lies in thinking that sharing clothes with a 6-year-old is cute. It isn't. It's actually creepy and weird. I get sharing clothes with your teenage daughter who has more physical resemblance to a grown woman's body, but you should not be fitting into a grammar school kid's clothes. Even if you do, don't brag about it because you may not be showing the best example of health and weight to your kid.

Nicole has spoken about her daughter's love for clothes and said, "She's into playing with makeup; she loves doing her hair and putting outfits together. She's just so feminine–and way more girlie than me." There's nothing wrong with that, but mommy is going to have to deal with her own body issues so she doesn't pass anything toxic down to her daughter.
