Kate Middleton is pregnant with baby #2!

It's official: Kate Middleton is pregnant with baby number two! Aw, congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their happy news; and a special congratulations to little Prince George, who'll become a big brother early next year!

Much like with her first pregnancy, it appears Her Royal Highness has been spending a lot of time with her head stuck inside the porcelain throne. According to the official announcement, shared this morning, the duchess is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace for a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum, also known as acute morning sickness. Pobrecita! Here's to hoping it's not as bad as it was last time. If you recall, Kate reportedly had a pretty bad case of morning sickness during her first pregnancy. So bad, in fact, she had to be hospitalized.

As any woman who has experienced morning (noon and evening) sickness knows, the constant nausea is just the tip of the iceberg. Hyperemesis Gravidarum may also induce vomiting and cause dehydration. So to stay healthy, Kate will have to drink plenty of fluids and cógelo con take it easy. In fact, given her history and delicate state, royal doctors have put the kibosh on Kate's travel plans—at least for now.

Though Kate appears to be grounded in the U.K. for now, news about her pregnancy has made its way around the world–in record time, no less. People from all over are already betting on the unborn baby's gender and name. According to the bookies at Paddy Power, odds are the baby will be named Henry or Elizabeth. Personally, I'm putting my money on Diana, as I believe they royal procreators are having a baby girl and will be inclined to name their little princess after William's late mother, princess Diana.

Regardless of the new baby's gender, it will become fourth in line to the throne, pushing its poor uncle Harry back to fifth place. But I'm sure he doesn't mind. According to the official announcement, the Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news of the new baby's impending arrival. I assume that includes Harry as well. Congratulations to them all!
