Boy, how things change! Once known for her drunken exploits on MTV's Jersey Shore, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has now settled into a life of domestic bliss with her fiancé Jionni LaValle and their son, Lorenzo, who will turn 2 in August. The former reality star quit drinking and smoking, lost 42 pounds within six months of giving birth to her son, and adopted a challenging workout regimen that transformed her entire figure. Now, seven months pregnant with her second child, Snooki is intent on maintaining her healthy habits, even continuing her exercise routine with the help of her personal trainer. On Wednesday, the 26-year-old posted a photo of herself on Twitter standing next to Lorenzo clad in a black sports bra and black leggings, her baby bump uncovered, and her bicep flexed to reveal a bulging muscle. With the photo, she tweeted the words, "No matter what happens in life, I will ALWAYS be a strong mom for my son and future daughter. My life is you."
The adorable photo and message show how much Snooki has matured since her days yelling into the infamous Jersey Shore duck phone, burping during show confessionals, wondering along the boardwalk in her fuzzy green froggy slippers, having "Team Meatball" adventures with fellow wild child Deena, and getting into serious trouble–including an arrest for disorderly conduct in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and a huge spat with then-boyfriend Jionni after she flashed her lady parts (or, as she called it, her "cooka") at a nightclub in Florence. No longer a party animal, Snooki has found the joy she needs in her quickly growing family. In addition to awaiting the birth of her second child, a girl, Snooki is getting ready for her October nuptials.
But don't go thinking Snooki has lost her edge! The same day she tweeted the bump-baring photo, she stepped out of her home with her fiancé wearing an all-black ensemble–cropped leggings paired with a tight-fitting, below-the-knee tank top, and topped off with lightweight blazer–but she made the look her own by piling on the leopard print accessories, choosing a pair of fringed booties and a flap-top purse with the feline motif.
With her bestie JWoww also preggers, it seems like the upcoming seasons of MTV's Snooki and JWoww will be full of baby-centric adventures!
