A 7-year-old boy was recently taken to the hospital after his father and stepmother beat him up with several objects including a pair of high heel shoes, an extension chord, a ruler, and a belt just because he got in trouble at school. Unbelievable–nothing gets me more infuriated than when I hear about parents physically abusing their kids.

The boy was found with black eyes, a fractured arm and hand along with a number of cuts and bruises on his head. Pobrecito! Investigators questioned the boy who admitted that his parents had beat him up using a number of objects including a pair of high heels his step mother hit him in the head with several times. They also questioned his 6-year-old sister who had witnessed the abuse. She claimed that her brother was the only one who got beat because he was constantly getting into trouble at school, but she also claimed that she only felt "a little safe" at home where she had witnessed her parents taking drugs.
Honestly, there's nothing in this world that poor kid could have done to deserve such a serious beat down. There's a BIG difference between disciplining your kid and straight up child abuse–and a pair of high heels to the head is definitely abuse! It's pretty clear that these parents are not well in the head (obviously they take drugs) and they should no longer have custody over these kids.
But we're no longer living in the days where it's acceptable to hit your child with objects. We should all know better by now. And these parents didn't hit their child, they practically beat him to death. I just hope they seriously pay for what they did to that little boy and hopefully he and his sister are placed with a loving family that will never put them through something like this again.
