A Massachusetts dad doesn't think there's anything wrong with letting his 9-year-old son appear in music videos rapping about money, women, drugs and sex. But police think the YouTube videos are "a bit much" and have filed a complaint against Luis Rivera claiming child abuse. If it's not child abuse, it's definitely neglect and someone is not taking care of their son properly.
Just take a look at some of the performances and you'll see why. Not only are the topics the child is rapping about completely inappropriate, but he's also seen slapping women's butts and in other situations simulating sex which are totally unacceptable.
The father defended his actions saying his son Luie "is not doing anything wrong," according to the local newspaper The Enterprise. And even likened slapping women's butts to how adults tap kids on the butt in a baseball game. Is he for real? The music videos with his son, known as Lil Poopy, are clearly sexual in nature and, in all honesty, are completely disgusting.

I've never been a huge fan of rap, but people are free to listen to whatever music they like. I just think it's reprehensible for a parent to let a 9-year-old boy think that it's okay to say bad and demeaning words about women and to glorify violence and drugs. I mean, what is this dad thinking? What kind of message is he sending to his son who will soon be a teenage boy?
I'm so glad the police have gotten involved and I hope the Department of Children and Families do a thorough investigation. Also, I can't help but wonder where Luie's mom is and what her role is in this whole thing. I truly hope she doesn't condone it. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if she does…
