Dragon baby slays monsters, becomes internet sensation (VIDEO)

We all know him as "Dragon Baby" because he possesses a talent for martial arts like no one else. With the swift movement of his little hands and feet, he's able to defend himself from even the most fearful of monsters: The dreaded stuffed dragon! That's exactly what made this baby famous, with more than 7 million views on Youtube for the amazing video created by Canadian director Patrick Boivin, who pits the Dragon baby (fun fact: that's his son!) against a stuffed dragon that comes to life in the backyard.

The new short was created by the director and features his baby son, Romeo Elvis Bulte Boivin, in a scene reminiscent of Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon. The story begins when little Romeo, dressed very appropriately as Lee, goes outside to play. Soon enough, the plush dragon he had just ignored comes to life and wants to fight the baby. That's when Romeo jumps to action and uses his "martial arts" to fight against the fearsome teddy dragon. After a fierce battle, the baby digs deep and rips out the dragon's… stuffing!

As you can imagine, little Romeo's movements are animated using various special effects. The video was created with using "Stop Motion," a techinique that consists of manipulating still objects frame-by-frame so that they seem to be moving on their own. Boivin used the same technique a couple of years ago in another short film called Iron Baby, in which his daughter, Marguerite, took on the Iron Man suit.

Honestly, I thought this video was super cute, but what was most impressive is that little Romeo must have artistic talent in his DNA because his acting is impeccable! I hope Boivin keeps making more adventures starring his kids so we can see more heroic acts from them!
