This is absolutely crazy! The mom of a 4-year-old girl was arrested in San Antonio, Texas, last week after she hit a 10-year-old girl who refused to share he ice cream with her daughter. According to the arrest warrant affidavit, Talysa Herron's daughter wanted to have some of the 10-year-old's ice cream. When she refused to share, the little girl went to grab it and the 10-year-old slapped her hand away.
Herron must have gotten real mad because as the girl walked away, she walked up to her, started yelling and then hit her in the face. The girl started running home, while Herron followed her in her car. And then, as if all that abuse and harassment wasn't enough, when the girl's mother, Cyndi Lafontaine, confronted her, Herron beat her up too! WTH?
Now, I wasn't there to see what actually happened and I'm sure I would've been mortified if I saw an older child hitting my daughter only because she wanted to have some ice cream. But from that to what happened here there's a huge gap.

Plus, if Herron was pissed off that someone had hit her little daughter, how would going after that other child solve anything? I mean, isn't that totally ironic? Way to lead by example! And then we wonder why so many kids are abusive to other kids. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like for Herron's 4-year-old daughter to go through all this. Not to mention the poor 10-year-old who must have been scared to death.
Herron was arrested after Lafontaine's husband called the cops. She has been charged with injury to a child and was released from jail on $15,000 bond. I wonder how she plans on explaining this disturbing incident to her daughter.
