With Mother's Day coming up, do some of our favorite Latina celebrities have babies on the brain? Apparently Latinas Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz do! The two, who co-star in the ensemble, film What to Expect When You're Expecting, recently opened up about their thoughts on motherhood…and even the possibility of adoption!
At a press junket for the film, the 42-year-old Lopez confessed that it would be a"blessing" to be a mother again and that after working on this movie, she was even open to the idea of adopting kids. "Before this movie, it was not something that had occurred to me. But after this movie, yes, I could see myself definitely doing it and being open to it for sure," Lopez said.
In the film, Lopez is in a relationship with Brazilian Rodrigo Santoro and they decide to begin legal procedures to adopt kids. Lopez's twins, Max and Emme, actually star in the film alongside their mom as her adopted children.

But while Lopez would love to add to her family, she also admits that having twins is already hard work. "I have a lot of great people in my life who help…at work and at home. I have a great family–so all together–we do it. It takes a village," she told People.
And Lopez isn't the only one to grapple with questions of motherhood. Diaz, who appears with Lopez and other cast members on the cover of this month's issue of Redbook, also recently discussed her more laid-back position on having kids.
"I thought I was going to be married and have two children by the time I was 21," Diaz, 39, says. "But then my career was starting to take off and there were still so many things I wanted to do. So that dream for me was shattered early on. After that I never put another timeline on anything in my life."

Personally, I think it would be awesome if Lopez adopted more kids! I think it's so amazing when women choose to adopt. I mean, they are taking in a kid as their own and completely changing their life!
Plus, I love that both women are so open about their feelings on having children. It's refreshing to see such successful ladies be comfortable enough with their own stances on motherhood to willingly take their time–Lopez with having more kids, Diaz with having her first kid. And though I'm sure it must be difficult to deal with pressure from the public and family (especially in the Latin culture where babies are basically a must!), that only makes it all the more inspiring to see these two women doing it their own way.
