Time flies, especially when it comes to kids! They grow up so fast that sometimes it feels like you just blink and suddenly, they go from toddling around the house to driving a car. I'm 22 and even though I'm not a parent, I experience the same jolt of shock every time I see my little cousins who, by the way, are now ALL unfairly taller than me. I know firsthand that years go by way too fast. That's why I thought it was so cool when I saw this video, which captures a 12-year-old girl's growth –starting from the time she was born– all in under 3 minutes!
Dad Frans Hofmeester, filmed his daughter, Lotte, every week for 642 weeks to create a moving video montage that illustrates close-ups of the girl's face from her newborn to pre-teen years. Though it stops at the age of 12, Hofmeester leaves the clip open-ended with the caption "to be continued…"
The end result of all his work is actually really amazing! What a unique keepsake to have of your child growing up! I would love to do this and I think any parent with the video skills should try it, even if it's for a shorter period of time. Why not? You'll end up with a super special visual memento that's way more awesome than a photo album.

What do you think of the video? Would you ever do something like this with your kids?
