No matter how much time passes, the death of a parent is something that will always affect a person. Whether a person loses either their mom or dad, whether it was when they were young or much older, the pain of losing them never truly goes away.
Many celebrities who shared tight bonds with their parents, like Thalía, have been open about how painful it was to mourn their loved one. While death is a part of life, no one really teaches you how to live without those people, like your mom and dad.

Some stars, including Kim Kardashian and Bella Thorne, lost their parents when they were younger and they didn't get the opportunity to share their success with them. They both have shared how their dads continue to be part of their lives and how the lessons they learned in the short time they lived with them is something they'll forever carry in their hearts.

Yolanda Miranda Mange died in May 2011 from a heart attack and her daughter still misses her deeply.

Famous lawyer Rob Kardashian passed away in 2003 from esophageal cancer. He left behind his three daughters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé, and son Robert Jr.
Dayanara Torres was distraught after her father's passing.
Jose Humberto Torres Lopez reportedly suffered a heart attack and died in December 2017 in Puerto Rico and his daughter was crushed by the news.
The death of his mom, Donda, deeply affected Kanye West.
Some believe that the rapper hasn't been the same since he lost his mom in 2007. Donda died from plastic surgery complications.
Marc Anthony was surrounded by his kids after his mom passed away.
Marc lost his mom in July 2017. A year later, he shared an emotional photo of himself in the studio and captioned it: "Finding inspiration at the studio honoring my mother with music and light yesterday on her one year anniversary. Miss you mom."
Adamari López's dear dad died at age 85.
Luis López died in Puerto Rico after suffering a heart attack, his son Adalberto López confirmed in February 2015. "Papi's lungs were full of water, he had pneumonia. His heart was weak, it just gave up, but we never thought that he'd go like this, so suddenly," he said at the time.
Gloria Estefan's mamá died in 2017 at the age of 88.
Gloria said goodbye to her mom, Gloria Fajardo, in June 2017. "She went peacefully surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren, son-in-laws, niece, three loving caregivers, extended family and her most trusted friends. I will miss her every moment of every day and I thank her for being the incredible mother, woman and role model that she was to so many people," the singer wrote on Instagram at the time.
Víctor Manuelle's dad lost his battle with Alzheimer’s in 2018.
Víctor Manuel Ruiz lost his battle with Alzheimer’s disease in January 2018. He was 68 years old. "Today my hero finished his mission with us on earth," the salsero wrote on Instagram. "He goes to heaven leaving us a great life lesson as father, friend and great human being."
Bruno Mars' mom's death in 2013 rocked his world.
"My life has changed," he told Latina magazine in January 2017. "She's more than my music. If I could trade music to have her back, I would. I always hear her say, 'Keep going and keep doing it.'"
Jenni Rivera's death stunned her five kids.
