Few days are harder for people who have lost their moms than Mother's Day. While everybody is congratulating their mamis, they are missing theirs more than ever. Adamari López, Chayanne, Thalía, and many other Latino celebs are have been honoring their moms, who are no longer with them, in moving ways during these days leading up to Sunday.

Thalía's mom died on May 27, 2011 and to this day, the Mexican singer mourns her.
"My mother was such a strong woman and a source of inspiration in my life. She used to tell me 'Life is too short! Live without limits!' Celebrate the women in your life today and every day!," the Mexican singer wrote on this year's International Women Day.
Chayanne was heartbroken when his mom, Irma Arce, died just before the Latin Billboards on April 18, 2014.
Still in deep mourning, the Boricua singer honored his commitment and showed up at the awards ceremony in Miami.
Olga Tañón's mom Carmen Gloria passed away on March 16, 2017.
The Puerto Rican singer shared with her fans a moving goodbye:
Mamita linda, good and beautiful. Fly high to papi's side. Thank you for your strength, your love, your smile, your passion, for everything.
Ricardo Arjona has never sang the song "Mi novia se está poniendo vieja" ever again after his mother passed.
"Today, in the saddest night of my life, I saw the strongest and most honest woman I’ve ever met leave before my eyes. I’ve never seen any other woman like her, not even in movies or in those tales of magical realism, that had many powerful women.” wrote the Guatemalan singer in an open letter after his mom passed on December 5, 2013.
Maybe during his current tour Circo Arjona will find the fortitude to serenade his mamá Noemí Morales.
