Dating detox

In a dating rut? It may be time for a dating detox. Go ahead and take a break from dating other people for a few months. Use this time to get to know yourself, inside and out. Think about what you really need in a relationship, and about why things haven’t worked out in the past. Or, perhaps, take this time to think about whether or not you really need to be in a relationship right now. The right partner will come along when the time is right. At least then you'll have a better idea of what you need, want, and deserve.
Social media cleanse

Got a bunch of negative Nellies clogging up your social media newsfeed? Get rid of them. If you haven't spoken to a particularly negative person online or face-to-face in more than a year, remove them from your newsfeed–ASAP. They probably won't be any the wiser, and you won't be privvy to their crazy rants and passive-aggressive status updates anymore. Phew!
Makeup detox

Let your face breathe, chica! Women wear makeup for up to 12 hours a day, which can clog pores and lead to–you guessed it–pimples! Not a fan of zits? Then give your face a mini vacay from makeup for a day or so. Not brave enough to go out into the world completely barefaced? Swap your heavy foundation and concealer for a lightweight BB cream or tinted moisturizer, and don't forget to wipe it all off before hitting the sack.
Financial cleanse

Take a cold, hard look at your spending habits, and see if you can find any areas where you could possibly cut back. We all have them. Perhaps you'll find that you're spending a lot of money eating out. Or on cabs. Scale back on those expenses by 20 percent by opting for a homecooked lunch over takeout and public transportation over cabs two or three times a week. That's not too crazy, right?
Digital detox

If you're like most people, you probably check our phone, iPad, and email obsessively. I get it. We all do it. But that doesn't mean it's good for you. Being plugged in 24/7 can really do a number on your mental and physical health, not to mention what it'll do to your real life relationships. To reset your body and reboot your relationships, try taking baby steps away from technology. Shut your phone off when you're at the gym, or promise yourself you won't check your email until you get to work. Need a total detox? Make a pact with your partner or bestie to go an entire weekend without checking Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Instead, just spend time hanging with one another, face-to-face.
Closet cleanse

My mami always says, "If you haven't worn it in over a year, you obviously don't need it." I think she's right. If you have any items that you can totally go without for months on end, just chuck 'em all together. At the very least, you'll be making room for all the new purchases you're sure to make in the New Year!
Vagina detox

Feeling less than fresh down there? Perhaps it's time for a vaginal detox. Start by washing your lady bits with a mild, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic soap and cool water. If you use lube during intercourse, opt for a water-based brand that’s glycerin and paraben-free. And finally, if you're especially prone to infections, try taking probiotics that contain Lactobacillus. This helps maintain a healthy vaginal flora as well at the health of your urinary tract, making it harder to contract bacterial infections.
