A line cook in a Baton Rouge, Louisiana restaurant recently had a religious experience when he cut into an eggplant and found the word "GOD" spelled out with its seeds. Jermarcus Brady of Gino's Restaurant got the reaffirmation of the holy presence and called it a "miraculous image" when he saw the seed arrangement and it's pretty spot on. Check it out!

The sighting appeared after Brady sliced into an eggplant, like he's probably done countless times before, and when he saw "GOD" in the seeds, it stopped him in his tracks. As a religious person, he's turned to the man upstairs to get him through some rough times like having to raise his four children on a low income in the past.
"He's showing me that 'hey, I'm real' and that's the only thing I can depend on," Brady said. The image also made the chef too "scared to slice another eggplant."
This is obviously not the first time a religious apparition has appeared in food (hello, Jesus toast!) or even in an eggplant. Back in 2007, Felicia Teske found the same thing in her slice and promptly listed the relic on eBay for $1,000. I would probably freak out if I saw such a thing and wonder what it all meant because it's hard not to think that something otherworldly is in the works rather than it just being a giant coincidence.
I bet when Brady took on the role of preparing food for the restaurant's clientele, he didn't think he'd also be delivering the word of God. And he's not the only one who's had some run-ins with the supernatural in some pretty common stuff. Check out some other divine apparitions below.
