An amazing Massachusetts mom reportedly recently saved the lives of her twin daughters by using herself as a "human speed bump" to stop her car from rolling into traffic. WOW! Talk about a real-life superhero!
Apparently, the incident went down earlier this when 22-year-old Mindy Tran thought she had parked her Honda at the top of a steep hill near her apartment building, but actually hadn't shifted it into the right gear. So imagine her horror when she got out to lock the front door of her home and the car began to roll down the hill, towards a busy street—with her 2-year-old daughters still strapped in the backseat!

Terrified for her childrens' lives, Tran didn't hesitate before springing into action. She threw herself under the car, slowing it down just enough for a neighbor to jump in the car and get the girls out uninjured. Firefighters had to free Tran and the young mom was airlifted to the hospital with a broken leg and dislocated shoulder and hip. She still needs several surgeries and is currently in a wheelchair, but is hopeful that she'll be able to walk again.
Still, she says it was worth it to save her children. "My daughters are my everything and I don't want to see my daughters in the hospital, and I knew at that time it was either mine or theirs," she told WCVB.
We always hear that there's nothing quite like a woman's instinct to protect their children and clearly, that was the case here. When faced with this scary situation, Tran did what she had to do to try save her babies without a second thought and for that, I think she deserves all the praise in the world. After all, isn't that what being a good parent is all about? I'm just glad that her children are OK and I wish Tran a speedy recovery!
