This child genius is sure to give Doogie Howser a run for his money! Sherwyn Sarabi, a 3-year-old from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England became one of the youngest members of Mensa. The "genius club" reportedly has 22,000 members in England, with only 100 children ages 10 and under.
The Huffington Post reports that Sherwyn said his first words at 10 months and has an IQ of 136–placing him at the top 1 percent of the world's most intelligent people. Wow, how amazing is that?!
Leave it to a 3-year-old to make us feel less intelligent than we thought we were! I bet Sherwyn could have figured out how to use an iPhone in his mother's womb–if that was even a possibility. It's fascinating though how a genius toddler already made a life accomplishment by joining the "genius club" before the age of 5!

According to Scotsman.com, by the age of two, Sherwyn could read proficiently, count up to 200, and even name parts of the body, planets, countries, and recognize flags. If you're blown away by his knowledge, you're not alone. Even doctors were floored by Sherwyn's intelligence after his mother, Amanda, took him to a regular check-up where he started naming countries he recognized on a map.
Amanda thought Sherwyn's behavior was normal, but doctors suggested otherwise, and psychologists who have analyzed Sherwyn deemed him gifted. So what does a genius toddler like to do on his spare time? His mom says he enjoys perusing YouTube and the internet to search for his favorite TV shows.
It's amazing how a kid who is still in nursery school is probably smarter than his own parents … and, let's face it, probably most adults! To be admitted into Mensa is a BIG deal, but as a toddler? That's HUGE! You never know if Sherwyn could be the inventor of some amazing device or discover a cure that causes a medical breakthrough. We can't wait to see what else this smart toddler brings to the table, but I bet his parents are super proud of his latest accomplishment!
