Most new moms know that going back to your pre-baby weight is not easy. For some, the process might be easy, but for many of us, it takes hard work and dedication. The Good American cofounder joined her sister Kourtney Kardashian for a chat on a YouTube livestream for Kourtney's lifestyl brand, Poosh. They talked all things fitness and at-home workouts, and both moms shared how they stay in shape while raising their babies.

The sisters shared so many details about their at-home workouts.

The two moms shared everything from workout playlists to tips on how to get their exercise in while raising kids. Kourtney said diets like keto and intermittent fasting help her, as well as scheduling her workouts. Khloé has her own routine for working out, but she knows to stay away from juices and useless calories.

Khloé has made much progress in terms of her fitness.

Khloé completely transformed her body a few years ago, and she revealed working out wasn't always easy for her, but she started with small steps. She knows that it is a tough journey, but it's important to start slow in the beginning. "When I first started working out, it was agony. When I was heavier and when I was more unhealthy, I had no idea what I was doing. I think I started two days a week, for the first two weeks, then I advanced to Monday, Wednesday, Friday," she said. "I believe in that you can't get it all in one day. You have to listen to your body."

She knows that pacing yourself is key.

Khloé believes that for people who are just starting on their fitness journey, it's important to not be too drastic because it's a complete lifestyle change. "I think you have to set small milestones and then reward yourselves," she said. "Praise yourself. Maybe watching what you're eating during that time, but start slow and that's the key."

Khloé opened up about how she lost the baby weight.

The mom revealed she was 203 pounds when she gave birth to True in April 2018, and she says that two years later, she is almost at her target weight. "After I had True I lost 50 pounds, or almost 60 pounds actually, but I of course dieted after that. If you're trying to lose a significant amount of weight, diet and exercise go hand in hand," she said on the livestream. "Now that I'm in my weight vicinity goal–I'm around 150. It goes up a little. When it goes into the high 140s I'm like, 'Woo! It's the dream.'" Now that she is closer to her target weight, she is more lenient with her diet. "In this world, I don't really watch what I eat. That doesn't mean I'm binge-eating bags of chips all day. We have good diets, but I love quesadillas. I love anything True's eating," the Revenge Body host said. She said she is not depriving herself of her favorite foods, like quesadillas, because she doesn't want to "live a miserable life because you never know if tomorrow is happening." She said that for her, it's easier to be more disciplined with work than with food. She continued, "I would rather put more effort into the gym than the kitchen. I know what to do if I need to buckle down."

Khloé knows getting fit doesn't happen overnight, especially after a baby.

The sisters both shared how they are staying in shape while they practice social distancing and gave fans advice on how to get fit while they are also at home. Their fans asked questions regarding their weight and how they got in shape. For Khloé, she made sure to give fans some words of advice, telling them to be patient, especially for new moms. “I did it day by day. If I could get through that workout, I did. But you’re not going to get it back in a day," she said. “It took nine months to gain the weight, give yourself at least a year to take it off. You have to adjust. And you’re juggling with a baby and your life and trying to do those moments that are about you. You have to be kind and learn how to balance it all.”
