I think we can all agree on two things here: Smoothies are the best and constipation is the absolute worst. Growing up, I remember my mom always made us papaya shakes whenever any of us felt, you know, backed up. That's because papaya is loaded with papain and fiber, which helps with digestion and relieving constipation. Pineapple is another fruit that's filled with fiber and contains a natural plant enzyme that's believed to improve bowel function. As a result, I recently whipped up a papaya and pineapple smoothie that doesn't just help you go, but it's yummy, too!

What's even better is that it is easy to make. If you're feeling constipated and don't feel like resorting to over-the-counter treatments that can leave you super-bloated like MiraLax or Metamucil, try this delicious digestion-relieving smoothie. All you need are the below ingredients:
1 Cup of chopped papaya
1 Cup of chopped pineapple
A few cubes of ice
1 Cup of almond milk
