It looks like Kim Kardashian West has finally reached her post-pregnancy weight goal. Well, almost anyway. The reality star recently shared a Snapchat on Monday revealing how much weight she's lost since giving birth to her son Saint West. While it is undoubtedly impressive, there is still something very concerning about this post.

The Snapchat Kim posted on Monday shows her standing on a scale, revealing that she is now down to 125.4 lbs.
"I haven't been this in years!!! 5 lbs to go!," The reality star captioned the image. Kim has been pretty vocal in the past about her weight-loss struggle, especially since giving birth to her first child and daughter, North West.
We all know it's not easy to bounce back after pregnancy. Most of us aren't supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who already was showing off her tight abs shortly after giving birth. But Kim seems a tad bit obsessed with this whole weight thing. Like relax, girl!
I've literally lost count of the amount of interviews, tweets, and Instagram posts of Kim reminiscing about her old body and her desire to lose weight. Sure, we've all been there. But your weight shouldn't play such a huge role in your confidence and self-esteem. Your self-worth is so much more than how you look on the outside.
"After I had Saint, I decided to set goals for myself," Kim wrote in a blog post on Monday about body image. "I was motivated, but it was tough! It isn't easy to just bounce back. I was so jealous of women who had these cute little baby bellies and would gain 25 pounds – and then, a few weeks after giving birth, somehow look exactly like they did before they were pregnant, lol. That's not me."
But wait there's more. She continues on to talk about how important it is for her to raise North to also be self-confident.
"Her attitude toward her body is directly related to my own, so it's my responsibility to make sure she understands that positive body image comes from having a healthy self-esteem" she adds.
There's nothing wrong with losing weight and there's nothing wrong with wanting to reach a weight goal that you're comfortable with. But the truth is, if you're placing this much importance on your weight and on your appearance, chances are you'll still find something you're not happy with even after you reach your goal. The key is to learn to love yourself despite your flaws and to recognize that you are so much more than what you look like on the outside. Once Kim comes to that realization, it really won't make a difference whether she's 125.4 pounds or 120 pounds. And maybe just maybe, she'll finally chill with the nude selfies. I'm hoping so, anyway.
